The ratchet to begin with or to perform on a trickline !

Sold with a 3 meter long back-up rope to secure the setup.

3 inches bigger than the classic ratchet, the GOLIATH ratchet will be perfect to rig your freestyle webbing (trickline or jumpline as we said it in the slackline jargon)
Mixing speed and efficiency, the GOLIATH ratchet can tension 20m long webbing (1 or 2 inch width) like the BANGER freestyle webbing.
Then, to tighten 30m long you will need two Goliath ratchet, one at each endpoint.

Using advices

  • Sold with a small sling for the ratchet. Length 20cm

  • To anchor the ratchet you will need a shackle (12mm mini) and a sling (1T mini)
  • Sold with 3m of rope/webbing to have a safe setup : back-up
    • Regarding the practice of freestyle, you have to also pay attention to one specific point : "the cycling failure". Do not use any zicral/aluminium component (carabiner) into your se-tup. Always back-up your set-up !
  • Protect both trees and webbing with our Tree Protections. It will expend the life expectancy of your equipment.
  • Store you webbing dry and clean, away from UV. It will expand the life of your equipment.
  • To also protect your gear, especially the Goliath ratchet, use a Soft Release System aka Lasso. It also allows to release softly the tension.

  • Don't rig your slackline accross a path,a road or any crossing
  • Don't rig your slackline higher than 2m
  • Ride on a grassy or soft ground, without roots or rocks
  • Always backup your setup
  • Never use ratchets for highlining
  • Never use urban furniture as anchor point
