You enter a world of softness and simplicity! Welcome to the world of Lasso, also called Soft Release!
The Lasso 25 mm allows you to unset a slackline without manipulating the tensioning system. Just let the Lasso webbing slide to relax very gently! A real comfort!
The Lasso is particularly used for pulley tensioning systems, with the use of a LineGrip, or with bananas!
Fast, efficient and practical!
The Lasso has a protective sleeving on the sewn loop to let the webbing slide without risk of damage due to friction and heat generated = Safety!
It can be attached to the slackline with a steel carabiner or a shackle.
What length should I choose for my Lasso?
For lengths up to 35m, we recommend the Lasso 4m long
For more than 35m, prefer to adivse the 7m long
Technical specifications
Composed of a 25mm wide strap of 4m or 7m with protected sewn loop
A scratch/velcro system locks the system and prevents any slippage
Workload : 15 kN
Breaking load : >50kN
The Lasso is offered as a basic model only, without any option.
A Lasso alone will not be useful, it is made to be associated with a kit. It cannot be used to tighten the slackline.
Color: orange or black according to stock If you have a preference, don't hesitate to ask :-)
Using advices
GENTLY SLIDE THE BAND to unset. Letting it go at once will burn it and risk damaging it!
To attach the Lasso to your slackline kit, you will need an additional connector - which you can add as an option
Use the pin side (flat side) of the shackle with the loop of the Lasso to avoid unscrewing it
Compatible for freestyle (trickline, jumpline) if used with shackles
Minimum 4 turns of webbing (8 strands) are necessary for a good use. The scratch must make 2 turns of the Lasso to lock it properly
Re-made the Lasso directly after each use to avoid damaging the scratches during storage And this will allow an easier setup during the next session
Store your equipment, dry and away from humidity, like all textiles

Responsability
Slacklining and particularly Highlining are sports having no legal framework or norms concerning the gear or the setup.
Consequently we cannot warranty our gear for Highlining. Our products are tested inside of our company via a process evolving with practice.
The results of those tests have no legal values, they aim to ensure the safety and comfort of using our equipment.
It is the responsibility of the slackliner to choose the right gear with adequate resistance and to have the necessary experience to adapt his installation to his practice.

Video and user guide are in progress. But thanks to the video below, you will understand how works a Lasso.
Simply gently release the webbing to release the tension and de-rig the installation.
How to determine the tension in your slackline ?
Our spreadsheet : Thanks to the following sheet, you will be able to approximately know the tension into your gear (slings, shackle, slackline, etc.). You will then know if you are using it correctly, meaning correctly regarding the using advices and most important the strength limits. Click there to see the sheet and enter your datas
The dynamometer or Linescale This product allows you to mesure exactly what is the tension into your equipment. For more informations click there.
