You always need to be in movement? to carry a slackline around you?
Then you need something light and compact! Good for you, you are at the right place!

The Ultra Light Kit is for backpackers who need 100% light equipment to carry around!

Light or Ultra Light version ?

  • The Light version of the kit is intended for the adventurers who wish to privilege the lightness and the compactness, but with a little comfort of installation. To have equipment to take everywhere with you!
The installation is done with a sling on each tree, for an optimal installation comfort.
  • The Ultra Light version of the kit is designed for backpackers who want to be 100% light and compact, with one less sling and one less carabiner (-185g) than the light version. So you can take your equipment with you everywhere!
The installation is done with a single sling on the tension side, and a lark's head on the opposite side.

In its 15m version, it can be used up to 12m.
In its 25m version, it allows a practice until 22m.
This is because the tension is made with the strap = primitiv system

For lengths of more than 15m, it will be necessary to tension the slackline at the height of the pool or even more.

Also available in 35m or 50m, see the Slackline kit ultra light 35/50m

With the 15m long version, you'll able to setup 12m.
With the 25m long version, you'll able to setup 22m.
Tensioning need a bit of webbing = primitiv system.

For longer than 15m, you have at least to have the slackline at hips height (or more).

A light version of the primitiv system ? Why ? Why not a classic Kit ?

Simply because you will save about 1 Kilogramme compared to classic kits (Kit Primitiv)

To compare, here are the results between the kits :

  • 15m : 0,79 Kg (-1,24 Kg compared to the 15m standard Primitiv Kit)
  • 25m : 1,15 Kg (-1,36 Kg compared to the 25m standard Primitiv Kit)

With those light versions we would like to offer you the lightest and compactest kit ever. We think that it's the perfect solution for those who like to travel a lot of have not lots of storage place.

Good to know, carabiners are generally not allowed in carry-on luggage on planes.

What is the Primitiv System ?

Don't worry if you don't know how to perform this installation ! Set it up 2 or 3 times and you will become the chief of Primitiv.
The Set Up video and the user guide are also there to help you. You will find them in the "Documentation" section and in your order.

The system consist in the use of the slackline itself and carabiners to tighten it. It's way lighter than a kit with a ratchet system. Once you know the trick, it is very fast and easy to rig.

To sum up, it means that you will have to pass and roll the webbing through the carabiners 2/3 times to tighten it. You will need 10/15 minutes the firsts times but then it will become a routine. No more than 5 minutes.

For the light version, we use the girth hitch system to fix the slackline on the opposite side of the tensioning system (less gear). See picture below.

Responsibility

Slacklining and more particularly Highline (in the void, secured by a harness) are sports practices that have no normative or regulatory framework for the manufacture of the material as well as for its installation.

This is why we do not guarantee our own equipment for highline use.
Our products are tested within our company and independent laboratories (mentioned on the product page) via a process that evolves with practice.

These resistance tests have no legal value, they aim to ensure the safety, resistance and comfort of use of our equipment - in the context of our practice.

It is the responsibility of the practitioner to choose the equipment with the appropriate resistance and to have the necessary experience to adapt the installation to his practice.
And to use appropriate equipment to secure oneself if necessary, such as PPE equipment (climbing gear, ropes, etc.).

Generalities

  • Do not install your slackline across a path, trail or place of passage
  • Do not install your slackline more than 2m from the ground without securing yourself with PPE equipment
  • Practice on grassy or cushioned ground free of any protruding objects or objects that could cause injury
  • Do a back up = secure your tension system
  • Never use a ratchet for highline practice
  • Never install your slackline on urban furniture (benches, lampposts, barriers, etc.)

Safety regarding highlining

It is the responsibility of the practitioner to use appropriate equipment to secure oneself if necessary, such as PPE (climbing equipment, ropes, etc.).

In NO CASE is this equipment designed to secure itself. For the lifeline - called backup - we advise to use only PPE standard material (climbing material, ropes, etc).
Unless expressly mentioned, no slackline element can be considered as PPE (personal protective equipment) for sports and leisure activities

NEVER USE SLACKLINE MATERIAL TO SECURE YOURSELF / TIE YOURSELF DOWN. IT IS NOT CLIMBING EQUIPMENT, NOR IS IT EPI STANDARD EQUIPMENT.
