You're a teenager or an adult, and looking for a light and compact slackline setup, just go a Primitiv Kit. You will be able to take it with you everywhere, to upgrade it. It's only 2,03 Kg and 4 Liter (volume)
This is the best solution to take with you in the park, on a hike, in fact to alway carry with you.
Don't worry if you don't know how to perform this installation ! Set it up 2 or 3 times and you will become the chief of Primitiv. The Set Up video and the user guide are also there to help you. You will find them in the "Documentation" section and in your order.
The system consist in the use of the slackline itself and carabiners to tighten it. It's way lighter than a kit with a ratchet system. Once you know the trick, it is very fast and easy to rig.
To sum up, it means that you will have to pass and roll the webbing through the carabiners 2/3 times to tighten it. You will need 10/15 minutes the firsts times but then it will become a routine. No more than 5 minutes.
What webbing should i choose ?
On 15m long, very few differences exist in terms of feeling. If you don't know what to choose, keep it simple, take the one you like the most visually.
The differences in sensation will really start from about 15/20m long. So here, for this length, we are talking only about colors and it's up to you :-)
We invite you to read our article on this subject on this link :
To begin, set the slackline at knee level on a short length. Then when you masterized go and back with turn-around, go longer.
Only 2 persons maximum are allowed to tighten.
This kit can be used on a maximum of 13m. The Primitiv system use a bit a the slackline for the tension (See Video Set Up and User Guide in the "Documentation" Section. That said, keep in mind that you are able to upgrade it later, up to 50m!
Thanks to the "Multi Sling", you'll add easily the gear needed to set 35m long or more in the futur. Please see the user guide in documentation section.
The Kit can stay in place for a day or two, but it's better to derig it after use.
Always store your kit, dry and clean, protected from the moisture (like all textiles)
Do not set on street furniture (posts, lampposts, etc.), nor on the pole of your terrace or balcony! They are not at all designed to withstand horizontal forces! Let's see here what could happen : click here

Slacklining and particularly Highlining (slackline in the air, securised by a harness) are sports having no legal framework or norms concerning the gear or the setup for safety.
Consequently we cannot warranty our gear for Highlining and to securised yourself with. Our products are tested inside our company and independant labs (mentionned on the product page if it's the case) via a process evolving with practice.
The results of those tests have no legal values, they aim to ensure the safety and comfort of using our equipment.
It is the responsibility of the slackliner to choose the right gear with adequate resistance and to have the necessary experience to adapt his installation to his practice. To securised yourself, use PPE Equipmeent (climbing gear, ropes, etc)
Don't rig your slackline across a path, a road or any crossing
Don't rig your slackline higher than 2m
Ride on a grassy or soft ground, without roots or rocks
Our spreadsheet : Thanks to the following sheet, you will be able to approximately know the tension into your gear (slings, shackle, slackline, etc.). You will then know if you are using it correctly, meaning correctly regarding the using advices and most important the strength limits. Click there to see the sheet and enter your datas
The dynamometer or Linescale This product allows you to mesure exactly what is the tension into your equipment. For more informations click there.
