As anchors for your slackline, it will withstand the harshest tensions.
Use it especially for longline, trickline.

They are very useful to rig your line to any kind of anchors : trees or others.
They are needed in 2 conditions : a line superior at 50m, or if the tension requires it.
They are also mandatory in Freestyle :  Trickline/Jumpline.
Those spansets also called round slings allow all kinds of rig/set up. You decide.

Using advices

  • A spanset is far more resistant than a classic sling. To be considered when rigging jumpline, longline over 50m and using pulleys system.
  • The equipment can stay in place for a few days, but it's way better to derig after each use.
  • Store your whole equipment clean and dry.
  • With spansets you can use different set up : cow hitchclove hitch, or use an adjustable knot to adjust the length.

  • Following your rigging methods, the resistance of the spanset can vary. Consult the following sheet :
  • Protect the spanset from cutting edges or abrasion. Avoid any contacts with sharp angles, edges.

Incompatibilities

  • Don't tighten it on urban furnitures (bench, lamppost, handrail)
  • Do not use for leverage or as industrial equipment/furniture

  • Don't rig your slackline accross a path,a road or any crossing
  • Don't rig your slackline higher than 2m
  • Ride on a grassy or soft ground, without roots or rocks
  • Always backup your setup
  • Never use ratchets for highlining
  • Never use urban furniture as anchor point
