The Sandy Bag allow you to install your slackline on any sandy beach.

This sand parachute easy to set up was design to be used up to 100m.

Ideal for your week end at the sea or your sessions at the sunset, the Sandy Bag will take a tiny place in your trunk leaving space for your A-Frames, slacklines and beach gear.

Tips

  • Rinse your material in contact with the salt with pure water. This will extend the life of your gear.
  • Dry your material after use to the shelter of the uv.
  • Store in a dry, clean and sheltered place of heat.

Recommandations

Installation

  • Dig a hole 80cm deep and 1m wide.
  • Dig two trenches 1.50m long that will equalize and connect the 4 anchors webbing to a point.
  • Place the Sandy Bag taking care to equalize the 4 anchors webbing.
  • Connect the 4 anchor webbing from the Sandy Bag to your slackline by using a roundsling (girth hitch or add a shackle).
  • Fill and cover the Sandy Bag with sand.
  • Take care to keep the Sandy Bag vertical or slightly inclined backwards during filling.
  • Preferably, the Sandy Bag must be buried, only the roundsling must come out of the ground connected your slackline.
  • Tight your slackline once the installation of the 2 Sandy Bag is complete.

Careful

Fill and cover the Sandy bag with sand.
Place the instructions on the outside of the Sandy Bag to ensure the longevity of your Sandy Bag.
More the Sandy Bag is buried deeply, better will be the tensile strength.

The Sandy Bag must be used with an A-Frame or other solid support to re-raise your slackline.
A Shovel will be needed to facilitate the installation of the Sandy Bag.

The beach is a shared area, signal your slackline by using caution tape !

Generalities

  • Don't rig your slackline across a path, a road or any crossing
  • Don't rig your slackline higher than 2m
  • Ride on a grassy or soft ground, without roots or rocks
  • Always backup your setup
  • Never use ratchets for highlining
  • Never use urban furniture as anchor point
